How I mentioned on my previous post I got two flights to Bali. The flight from Dubai takes 9 hours. It was long and tiring but my collegues were awesome so that always matters. We arrived to the hotel in the evening so I ordered room service and went to bed.
The next day early morning I and one girl from England and one guy from Vietnam went for tour. Our driver picked us up at the hotel. I highly recommend him. He does all kind of tours. Our first stop was Luwak coffee farm. If you are coffee lover like me you would love this. You can see a process and preparation of coffee Luwak. The Luwak is the star of the show, and the coffee is made from collecting the droppings from the Luwak and separating the coffee beans (they only pick and eat the best ones), and then cleaning and roasting the beans to form the coffee. One cup of Luwak coffee costs 5 Dollars. The most expensive coffee in the world. At the end of the tour you receive tasting set of their coffees and teas. Continue reading
how are you today? Summer is almost over but for me it means that the great weather is starting here in Dubai 😀 until now it was a nightmare. For you who have no idea how the weather is in Dubai so let me tell you that during summer it’s unreal.
I have already mentioned here swapping, bidding but I haven’t mentioned that sometimes you can get awesome flight for me it was Taipei and out of nowhere it disappers from your schedule and then what?! You have a few choices you can be mad as hell or just stay positive and tell yourself something nice will come. I was hoping for diffrent layover. Not always it works but life taught me it’s better to stay positive and everything turns into good. After a couple of hours I saw on my roster that I will be flying to Oslo istead of Taipei. I’ve never been there and now is the perfect time to go so I was happy. Continue reading
so I was wondering if you would be interested in these kind of short posts. Every month we have a new roster. Where we find out where we will be flying next month. Always very exciting to find out what will be next month, where I will be flying, how many days off I will have. If I have same days off as my friends etc. So I thought it would be nice to share that every month with you. That you can see and have some sneak peek what will come. Of course it might change because there is always an opportunity to swap flights if I want to or they can change it anytime. So you never know. Continue reading
recently I have flown to Malta. I bid for this flight so I was happy I got it twice this month. We departed at 8am and first we flew to Cyprus where a few passengers disebarked and a new passengers got on board and then we continued to Malta. I’ve never done flight like that before. It’s usually from destination A to destination B so it was kind of interesting. Continue reading
When I saw on my roster 5 days off I knew I don’t want to sit at home and do noting. Mainly this time in Dubai during summer. There isn’t much to do because it’s super hot. I started thinking that I will probably go somewhere for a few days and have a small vacation. Even if I feel my job is one big vacation but 😀 I will never have enough of travelling. In the future I definitelly want to travel more in my free time and make a short trips around Middle East. I was also lucky to find awesome girls to go with. Continue reading
how are you today? This time I must say I was very lucky. I had tournaround to India but luckily I swapped it for Joburg. I am starting to be really good in swapping 😀 For you who doesn’t know the difference, we usually get layovers and tournarounds in each month. Tournaround means that you fly somewhere but you flight back straight away, you don’t even have a chance to get from the plane. These flights are usually short that’s why you don’t need to have a rest in the destination but sometimes it gets very tiring. Layovers – about these flights I usually write about. We fly somewhere and then we stay at the destination usually for 24hours but sometimes it’s even more it depends it can be even 3 days. Continue reading
How are you today? How I mentioned in the other post we can bid for flights and for month of August I bid for Barcelona and luckily I got it twice but then I swapped the other one for Bangkok and now I am not sure if I did a good decision because Barcelona is huge and there is so much to see and to do. I didn’t have a chance to see everything what I wanted but it’s ok I know I will have a chance to go there again if I would like. Continue reading
Somebody sent me a swap for this flight. I supposed to go to Venice but if you read my posts you know I have been there recently. You can read my post about Venice here. So I was very happy to go somewhere I’ve never been to. New destination for me. Departure was super early and I managed to sleep just for 2 hours before the flight but luckily I found energy for the flight and even to go to the city after we landed. Sometimes it’s a real struggle to stay awake for such a long time. You don’t want to waist time in the destination or sleep during the day and then not be able to sleep in the evening so I always try to be up until evening and go to sleep in the local time. That’s cabin crew life 😀 Continue reading
The real straggle for me is when I fly somewhere and then I check the weather in the destination and it says 17ºC/62ºF and I have no idea what to pack and which outfit should I wear. So I always write to my sister. She is kind of my personal adviser for weather but I feel she always answers the same and that is ballerina shoes and blazer. Seriously?? Maybe she is right but come on!! 😀 Continue reading
This month I had two flights to Rome so I was super excited about it. It is wonderful city and it offers a lot so it’s definitely better to have more time. Every month we have chance to bit for flights. We can put 5 preferences, but it’s not guaranteed that you will get what you want but I bid for Rome and I got it twice, lucky me! Continue reading
